Still lazy, still unmotivated.
Still eating junk. Still unhappy. :frown:0 -
It would just be a lot harder..0

I've been living this lifestyle since November 2010. I only joined MFP in January 2012. That's over a year I had when I was doing this elsewhere, and I was doing well so it isn't impossible.
I started on another similar site, but it quickly went downhill. During my time there, I was on 1300 calories and consistently losing whilst eating well and exercising. I learnt my own way of doing things, I found what worked for me and what didn't, and I was firmly in the correct mindset by the time I decided the site was absolutely beyond repair, and I moved away. From there, I continued logging on my own, but keeping track of my own calories day in and day out was incredibly complicated and eventually I joined MFP to get back to having a tracking tool.
Didn't take me long to join the forums and make some friends, and I'm now enjoying this journey more than ever. I've tried new things, and more important I've raised my daily calories from 1300 (which is also what MFP set me) to my own setting of just over 1600 calories, which is working even better for me.
In my opinion, being without MFP isn't going to make things so much more difficult that you can't lose weight or be healthy, but joining MFP makes it far more fun and gives you so much MORE information to find your own personal journey.0 -
Using Livestrong, com. Or Sprakpeople. Or Weight Watchers. Or pen and paper.0

I'd probably still be 13kgs heavier. Or more!0

14lb heavier !0

I lost about 30lbs before MFP, but I was 16/17 and didn't realise how much I was damaging myself. Eating less than a 1,000 calories and then exercising is not enough... So I'd probably still have lost weight, but I wouldn't be as healthy as I am now, and I probably would have gained it back, as I didn't change my habits... I just ate less. I love MFP, don't know what I'd do without the success stories for motivation :brokenheart:0

I'd still be fat probably.. yes I was losing weight before MFP, but it was nothing like what I was doing with MFP.0

I've counted calories forever (used to have a real paper food journal!), but this makes it so much easier!0

Fat. Very fat. LOL.0

I don't think I would have begun my journey...:frown:0

42 pounds heavier.0

I think I would've lost a little bit of weight, but not nearly as much. Plus, I would've had a lot more slip ups, a lot less motivation, and no support like I have from my MFP family! I love this site SOOO much!0

I wouldn't be as committed to tracking everything. Before MFP I was using a written journal... .writer's cramps!
Now I take MFP with me on my mobile app so I'm even more likely to record everything.0 -
MFP is a great tool but life would most certainly go on....I would definitely be eating more ICE CREAM!0

Would not be down ten maybe more if it was not for My Fitness Pal!!! I have been trying to lose weight for over a year now by just using the Wii and walking and watching what I eat but I noticed that once I started with my fitness pal my protions got smaller and the weight started coming off!!!0

I'd be working out and eating well. MFP didn't "fix" me. I fixed myself. It was just one of the tools I've used.0

Probably still losing weight because I wouldn't of decided to lift weights or eat more to increase my muscle mass.
I was losing weight just naturally eating healthy and jogging 3 times a week. I lost 20lb+ and was really motivated, but I still wasn't happy about how I looked because there weren't much muscle on me.
I've still got a long way to go, but I can see progress.0 -
 :brokenheart: I'd have never met some of my awesome friends that keep me going on a DAILY basis!
MFP really helped me realize what I was putting in my face, so I would still have been working out, but I don't think I would have gained that understanding of food. Things I thought weren't a big deal were. A spin off of that is, because of learning more about food, I have turned into one heck of a cook. Ask my BF, I feel like I have relationship security just because of my cooking.  :laugh:0 -
Weight loss wise... maybe about the same, I had already started losing weight before I found MFP. But I'd probably get a lot more work done without MFP! lol0

Using the other site for calories/exercise tracking. I only signed up to MFP because it's the only way to see nutritional info.0
