And i'm ready to start my new excercise plan on Monday!!

I spent $200 on an elliptical
$160 on an exercise bike
$35 on an mp3 so i can listen to music while exercising

and....

$280 on an xbox 360 to keep my boyfriend happy while i'm ignoring him in the evening and exercising!! :laugh:

    You should have got him a WII and then used it for yourself cause the WII Fit is awsome!!

    Good one! Keeping the sig other out of the way was a very smart Idea!!

    I know you are just starting so wanted to share a quick routine that I found effective (given to me by a trainer to ensure I changed things up a bit!)

    5 min warm up
    Hit it at med/high intensity for 5 min
    do 10 push ups
    and 10 side lunges
    repeat 3 times

    2nd set

    10 cruches
    10 leg lifts

    Vintage cruiser bicycle- Free
    Sweatin' to the Oldies- Free
    Workout videos at sparkpeople.com and exercisetv.tv- Free
    Walking around the block- Free

    My awesome 14 year old daughter who works out with me- Priceless

    Love it! I recruit family to walk with me too- it seems less like exercise and it's good company!
