Oh, Metallica is pretty awesome, but my absolute all time favorite is Alice in Chains!!!!!! Early 90s stuff with Layne Staley, but the new guy is okay since they still want to play music.

The group that had the most influence on me in my early to mid 20s was Creedence Clearwater Revival.

I LOVE all music. But my favorite musician has to be Ernie Halter. Some others, Josh Hoge, Tyrone Wells, Tony Lucca, The Beatles, Etta James, Adele, Eric Hutchinson, Gavin DeGraw, Melissa Polinar, Andy Grammer...this list can go on and on!

It's too hard to just name one so:
    Tool
    Mastodon
    Led Zeppelin
    Simon & Garfunkel
    Clutch
Crosby, Stills, Nash and (sometimes) Young
    Sublime
White Stripes (well, really anything Jack Black touches)
    Regina Spektor
    The Smashing Pumpkins
    Every Time I Die
    And so many more...

WAY too many to name just one, but if forced, it'd easily be Nirvana.

But also Norma Jean, Megadeth, Skinny Puppy, Iron Maiden, Zao, Black Sabbath, Soundgarden, Pearl Jam, Tool, Kyuss, Fu Manchu, Local H, and many more.

Currently listening to Red Lamb, and love it. Mustaine's influence is heavily evident on it (not that it's a bad thing).
