Blink 182 was also my favorite band for the longest time, starting at about 12. I had all there cd's! Oh and I love the Early November!This is a hard one. My favorite band was Skid Row from about the age of 8-18... but I attribute my obsession with music when I discovered Blink 182 when I was 13... I guess if I had to figure out who's been the most influencial in my life, they'd be:
Blink 182 (because they kick started the obsession)
The Early November (taught me the power of raw talent and incredible lyric writing)
Sara Bareilles (shows that musicians can love their fans more than their fame)
Company of Thieves (inspiration for my next tattoo)
anyways, Say Anything and Motion City Soundtrack are my favorites!0 -

My favorite band is probably Avenged Sevenfold. My favorite musician would be Emilie Autumn. If I had to pick one over the other I'd say Miss Autumn. Her music is just awesome and seeing her live is like going to a naughty carnival.0

My music tastes are varied and change over time but Fiona Apple has always left everyone else in the dirt. She doesn't have a song I don't adore. So excited she is finally putting out a new album and touring again! Going to see her in Portland in July.0

TOOL Maynard is so good!
AC/DC My favorite since the early days. Loved Bon so much, finally got used to Bryan and love him too now.
Pantera RIP Dime! I still listen to and love all my old Pantera albums.
Disturbed The power of David Draiman compels me!
Rhino Bucket Loved them for years. Most people have never heard of them.
Coal Chamber Another less known, but good band. Love them!

This is tortuous. Being a musician, I love everything so much, it's hard to pick. But, my favorite band has become Foo Fighters. It wasn't always that way, but listening back on their whole body of music, I have to say that they stand the test of time, they have a huge variety in their sound and their song writing, and they continue to grow and write more complex music, which I like to see in a band.
But, I really like everything...depends on my mood. Nothing like Slayer once in a while, or Pantera, or throwing down some Bonnie Rait once in a while. I'm all over the map with music.

Omg yes! I saw them at ACL Fest about 7 years ago (I think?) and Noel and Liam got in a fight half way through their set, Liam stormed off stage, Noel talked *kitten* about him and stopped to tell the crowd a huge owl was staring at him (we have a building downtown here that you could see from the fest that looks like an owl from the corner). Good. Times. Wonderwall is the jam.0 -
