  • Hard to pick just one!!! As far as older, I like Metallica and a lot of the 80's "hair metal" (Poison, Cinderalla, Ratt, etc.). Then I also listen to a good bit of the early alternative "grunge" music (Nirvana, Pearl Jam, etc.), reminds me of my junior high and high school years :). As far as newer music goes, I lean towards modern rock and alternative (Shinedown, Three Days Grace, Papa Roach, Linkin Park, Tool, Theory of a Deadman, etc.). Out of all these, if I had to pick just one favorite, probably Shinedown. Of course, that's the one I've seen in concert most recently, so that affects my answer, lol!

As others have said - so many to choose from for me - I love most kinds of music and so many different groups/artists that I listen to. But, the band for me if I were stuck on a desert island are the boys from Toronto, the Holy Triumvirate -
    RUSH.
Can't wait for the new album next month and one of their logos will probably be my next tattoo. Been a fan since I was in eighth grade. And, sad to say, that was a long time ago!

I grew up addicted to Roxette and Prince. The music just never ages to me. I also adore Darren Hayes and Michael Buble.

The contents of my MP3 Player is pretty random though when played on shuffle. Just on my walk this morning I got ACDC, Jessica Simpson, Crowded House, Stone Sour, Savage Garden, Prince, Fergie, Neyo, Sarah McLachlan, Peter Gabriel, B52s and Seasick Sea... just to name a few.
