Okay I'm doing this activity through work with my coworkers and thought it would be fun to do it here too.
We are doing groups of 10 as a team but I thought here we could just do it 1 on 1 to make everyone a little more competitive.
So keep count how many miles that you do each week from April 23rd thru June 4th and then we will post them on Sundays of each week.
Happy Walking I want to be able to do a 5k soon, so I hope this jumpstarts me. Anyone is welcome to join.

This is a great idea. We did a 500mile challenge at work. August of last year to may of this year. i started in October and won the challenge. I hit 500 miles in February! Good luck to you all.0

If you're wanting to do a 5k, mix in running with your walks. Run as long as you can, then walk. Then run as long as you can as soon as you can.0

one thing i just thought of, is this exercise walking, or every step you take during the day?0

Since most of us are using fitbits to track, it will track any steps that you take during the day.0

I know I'm a little late to join but I am doing a walking program at work too. I also use the fitbit so....
4/23-4/29: 42.89 miles & 92,369 steps0 -
4/23-4/30: 22.01 miles0

4/23-4/30 21718 steps taken and 9.34 miles traveled, but to be fair I had surgery on Wednesday and moved as little as possible for a few days. Next week WILL be better!0
