I use my food scale to weigh almost everything...but i was just thinking about it, and are you supposed to weigh the food before cooking it, or after?

    With cooked food, I always weigh the final product.

    If it's meat, check the food database for raw/cooked versions. I usually weigh it raw and look for the raw version in the food db.
