My first NSV

I used an elliptical machine today for the first time. Burnt 620 calories in 65 minutes (which as I understand it isn't a lot for 65 minutes on the elliptical...) I'll never be able to consume my remaining 1100 calories by the end of the night, but I'm excited just the same about my progress and actually going to a gym. I am hoping to make this a five times a week activity.

I thought I was doing okay plodding along at 3.7 on the treadmill for 30 minutes..until there were no treadmills open at the gym one night and I moseyed over to an elliptical to kill some time. I lasted 5 minutes on Level 1.

    I'm impressed with you!

Awesome! I have an elliptical that I work in with my other routines. It's no joke! :) I've never done an hour on it, though!

Awesome! My sister had one and I didn't last 5 minutes! Although I was less fit at the time than now. I could maybe do 15 minutes now.

I have an elliptical at home and we ARE NOT friends. I can't seem to make it more than 3-5 minutes. I don't even try it at the gym. I'll go straight for the treadmill or stationary bike. If anyone can do 65 minutes their 1st time out...I hang my head in shame and bow to your determination.
