Hey All,
I am engaged to a beautiful lady and our wedding is this year in September.. I would love to look my best for our wedding day.. My goal is to go from 208lbs down to 170 lbs before the wedding day.. I plan on trying to find others that will work out with me through xbox live or biking since I am planning to do the MS150 this year.. Please add me if you wish to encourage me on my way through this though deal. I just keep telling myself it is only 38lbs that you want to lose you can do this. Plus I am entered into an event to lose the most body weight % by March 30th so that is another way to try to make myself stay on the correct path. I do have trouble because I have lower back issues from serving in the military and I can not do as much as I did before.. And another one of the biggest troubles known to humans I have a MAJOR sweet tooth... So please help me stay encouraged so my Beautiful Jenny can have a fit man on our wedding day...

Thanks,
Print

Yea I screwed up my L4 while I was overseas for my first deployment and my 2nd deployment just added more issues to it.. So my CT Scan shows that my L4 is torn and degraded... Make sure you tell your hubby to make sure he gets everything document so that if he every comes out he can get medical attention for his back... I should have got more docs then what I did so now I just try to pass the word along to other military members to make sure they do that.

I plan on doing my best.. Just finished 30 minutes playing Zumba on my Kinect.. fun fun fun
  • Have you tried The Biggest Loser for xbox kinect? That is what I use. My hubby is in the army and he likes UFC for kinect, but that's a bit hard for me. Curious as to what workout games you play. If I can find more people that play these games for xbox then I would do xbox live. That would be motivating.

I do have the biggest loser... I tend to get mad at that one for not counting my reps lol but it is a good game.. I have that and Julian Michael's Fitness and Zumba... Not sure how they play online yet.. have yet to find anyone to try it with... I am trying to find friends to play it with to help push me away from Call of Duty and into more of a workout...

**I did four years in the Marines under 1st Recon Bn. with 2 tours to Fallujah Iraq. **

    Thanks,

Better to look like an idiot now then to look and feel like an idiot while dealing with the bills of the pain later on. Do not let the press of the other military members bother you about having your needs taken care of trust me. I caught a lot of crap for going in to get my back checked on and they all called me a wuss etc... but I had a torn disc without knowing it

  • Hey Print,
Welcome to the nut-house :) There will be tons of information on these boards and everyone has an opinion, don't be overwhelmed.
Talk to me about xbox live games...our family got an xbox 360/kinect for christmas and I haven't really played it, it's mostly for the kids. But if you're saying there are exercise games too? hmmm...

at any rate, good luck to you! Friend me if you don't mind an old married lady hanging around ;)
