On the nutrition label of the rice (basmati) it says for 1/4 cup is 160 calories.
Does that mean 1/4 cooked or uncooked?

I stopped eating white rice because it increases the risk of diabetes. I go with the long grain brown which is loaded with complex carbohydrates and doesn't give you a sugar spike.0

From the database:
Rice - White, long-grain, regular, cooked, 1 cup is 205 calories
Your 1/4 cup of basmati is uncooked, and will produce approximately 2/3 cup cooked rice.0 -
Cups are the devil's measure.
What brand is it?
Does the label mention a weight serving?0
