I need to find a GOOD walking/running shoe that feels good on my feet. I am 90 lbs away from my goal weight and I can't find a shoe that feels comfortable to exercise in. Any suggestions? Cost does play a part it the consideration.

I didn't have the ability to go to a specialist running store when I bought my running shoes. I did a lot of research and came up with the Asics Gels which I got on special offer. I know it's different for everyone, but I've seen these recommended A LOT since, and they totally stopped my very severe shin splints.

I'm sure it's no substitution for getting properly fitted, but if you're short on money and/or a specialist running store isn't an option, I'd say definitely consider them.

I love the Asics as well. See if you can go and try out 2-3 different brands someplace. Not every brand works for all sizes and shapes of feet.
