Any other clean eaters?

I started dong this without realizing it was an actual diet plan...basically cutting out processed foods, sugar, and other "white" foods. I'm on my second week and really loving it but having some trouble deciding if some things are clean or not...like Greek Yogurt? I have plain Greek yogurt and I have been making fruit smothies in the mornings, and I just wonder if it is a clean food.

Meh, depends if you consider eating dairy products clean eating. I'm lactose intolerant, but even so I wouldn't consider wheat/dairy "clean" due to the amount of hormones/processing that render them edible. That said, greek yogurt is probably the BEST dairy product for you to eat, so go for it!0

I'm not a massive clean eater (I try, but I don't do it religiously), but I would say full fat is more 'clean' than anything that's been tampered with to reduce fat.
But then, it all comes down to your own definition of clean. I have absolutely no problems with dairy (heck, half my protein is dairy!), but I know lots of clean eaters stick very tightly to "if it had a face or it grew out of the ground, eat it. If not, don't."0 -

I don't think there's an agreed definition of "clean" unfortunately. A vegetarian wouldn't call a meat eaters diet clean, a vegan wouldn't call a diary consuming vegetarian's diet clean. As I understand it, the idea is to aim for as natural, wholefood, unprocessed a diet as possible, but probably only at the extreme ends is there any real agreement; e.g. we would probably all agree that a Mac cheeseburger and fries isn't clean, and carrots you've grown organically in your garden are, but the spectrum in the middle's rather fuzzy...0 -

0% fat free yogurt doesn't have the protein that plain greek yogurt has.
While I do have my days where I "cheat" (yesterday I had a McD's cheeseburger), for the most part I stick to this type of eating and love it!0 -

Thanks so much for that! I figured it was at least sort-of clean - no sugar or artificial stuff in it. I can now feel better about my morning smoothie!0 -

Try different additives to your plain greek yogurt too if you decide to eat it as a breakfast/dessert instead of a smoothie. The staples I use in mine are 8 stevia drops & a tablespoon of honey. Then I add some fruit. I've found that I love blackberry the most. I've also tried strawberry (my second favorite), blueberry, and raspberry (yuck... too tart). Usually the honey & fruit make it sweet enough so I could probably cut the stevia drops but hadn't considered it until now.0
