Low carb snacks...

Any ideas guys, i've been advised by my doctor to go low carb from 3pm onwards, struggling for snack and meal ideas!

    Fat doesn't make you fat, excess calories do. Your body needs fat to function properly. Hummus is a great snack. Just make sure that you measure it out and don't eat the whole container.

    I don't think so. You can look at my diary. I know I had hummus on Monday.

    It shouldnt be- chick peas are low fat and high fiber.

    I love deviled eggs.

    I like carbmaster yogurt from Kroger, Beef Jerky, Cheese, Avocado, Nuts, protein shakes (Jillian Michaels Whey Protein & EAS Carb Control).

    Protein powder and unsweetened almond milk.
    For solids, I am nuts over nuts. Macademia, Almond, Walnut and Brazil nuts for variety.
    You might wish to think about going lower carb all day. It will likely be much easier than clock watching. I don't understand the medical rationale for 3pm, if that is the way it has been presented to you.
    Folks that eat a lot of carbs sometimes report cravings. I found it much easier to just eliminate 98% of processed carbs from my diet,
    Even though cured meats are protein and can be considered a snack, I don't eat anything in the processed category with high sodium, nitrites and so on.
    I make an exception on the nitrites for wine, however. Happy low carb snacking.
