The donuts my new project manager brought in to a meeting this morning. They sat in front of me for the entire meeting. There were three of my favorites. I decided I'd rather spend my calories on something else.0

Fruit snacks. they're so small, that I think I can have like 3 at a time. They look harmless but those sucks have way too much sugar!0

Took the kids and the husband to McDonalds last night, that Big Mac and fries with a dr pepper sounded so good (and looked good on the menu), but I remembere my wigh in form that morning and was down 2 pounds so I refrained and then after getting their food drove to Subway. Still ate out but only had 350 calories instead of 1500. Good Luck to all of ya'll!! (I also try to remember before I eat that saying "a moment on the lips, a lifetime on the hips")0

Before I went out yesterday I had an awesome salad for dinner. My girlfriend decided she was hungry and made me sit in Five Guys while she waited an hour and twenty minutes for a burger the size of her head. She then ate it in the most excruciatingly slow manner and smacked her lips with every bite.
I just sat back and imagined slapping her with the hamburger patty. It kept me entertained AND I didn't want to eat it. :laugh:0 -
I;m from New Orleans... we have high fat and high calorie food EVERYWHERE... every day i am tempted... somedays I give in.. :blushing:0

Red Velvet Cheesecake! *my mouth just watered... lol* I've always been a sucker for the sweet stuff. At the Cheesecake Factory they have all those delicious deserts on display. For fear of putting it in my food diary, I victoriously walked away!1

There is a very large Snickers bar in my freezer. It has been there since Xmas and I am waiting until I reach my goal to eat it. Hope my SO doesn't decide to grab it first.0

I've driven to the Sonic Drive In before because I wanted to try sweet potato tater tots, sat there cried and pulled away.
I lust for Zio's everytime I drive by though but that's like 1,000 carbs and 10,000 calories per visit.1 -
KFC! I could hear the zinger tower meal and oreo Krushem calling me! I managed to drive past the drive -thru :noway:
go to the supermarket and buy some veg and fruit! :happy:1 -
My husband is a baseball trainer and his kids bring him gifts and treats sometimes. He brought home a whole big tin full of Mrs. Fields chewy chocolate chip cookies a couple days ago. I had one the first night and one yesterday morning and haven't touched them since even though they are sitting right there on the counter! Normally I would have eaten several by now! Woot woot1

It's rice. I love rice. Fried rice, basmati rice, sushi rice, dirty rice, Mexican rice. Double order of vegetables at the hibachi place got me through. And a couple bites of my kid's rice to kill the craving...0

I went to McDonald's last week to meet someone and didn't eat at all!! it was so hard!!0

Red Lobster biscuits! Most of the time I'll manage to say no, but every now and then I'll plan my day around a Red Lobster meal, simply so I can enjoy ONE biscuit! :laugh:1

The local mexican restaurant here and how I drove by is simple.
NO funds!!! Get's me every time.0 -
French fries.
It's always the french fries.
Stupid french fries.
Yes. I'd swim in them. I'd sleep with them. When I die, I'd like to be buried in french fries.0 -
I was hungry on the way home last week and whipped into a Jack in the Crack....got in line...then just drove away.0

I was hungry on the way home last week and whipped into a Jack in the Crack....got in line...then just drove away.
That is seriously awesome. If I'm in line, I'm staying and then licking the greasy fat off my fingers while crying about it all the way home.
Zero self control when I'm there.
High five through the internet!0 -
My two biggest temptations are pizza and tacos.
Yesterday was my first real day getting serious with MFP and calorie counting. What I do is figure out my calories in the morning and space them out during the day, and I'm also drinking two slim fast shakes a day right now. More for the sanity of not have to figure out EVERY meal right now. Well at dinner time as I'm drinking a Low Carb Slim Fast shake.. my BF decides to make one of my favorite meals - TACOS! Luckily, my nose is stuffy from allergies and I could only smell them a little bit. I ended up snacking on a few pieces of pepperoni since I wanted something salty to munch on without caving in.
I decided if I still had the craving this morning to just have one of those mexican Hot Pockets for breakfast LOL.. and I did. It was delicious, and craving is gone and I'll still be within calorie range today. Go me!0 -

Potato chips are my down fall  But yesterday when i was going to go to the store i remembered how much i've lost so far and how hard i've been working. That was enough for me to take my hand off the door knob.0

-
What do you mean, almost? I've eaten plenty of donuts, cookies and ice cream since starting on MFP.
When your plan already has you at a 750-calorie deficit, the occasional unplanned snack isn't the end of the world.
