    Yes. And they fit in perfectly with my 40/40/20% ratio of fat/protein/carbs%

    I made my own variation of these before. SO GOOD! My boyfriend didn't like them but that meant more for me.

    Bacon is cured (preserved with salt,) and smoked (also a preservation technique.) Technically, you can also eat it raw.
