I read so many people on here talking about how they have no support at home from their loved ones. I am so lucky I have the best boyfriend who supports anything and everything I do. I love that he gets I don't want to go on a date night and blow off all the hard work I have done. I sometimes get down about my progress as we all do, he is their telling me how great I'm doing and things i Can't see. Please re post if you have a husband, wife, boyfriend, girlfriend, ect who hold you up and never tears you down!

Now maybe if you'll believe the things I'm telling you about how fantastically awesome you are, everyone will be happy. You're kicking major butt, and looking hotter every day!0 -
That is awesome. I'm glad you found someone like that.
My husband watched all of our kids while I went for a 50 minute workout alone last night. It was awesome. He thinks I'm sexy and beautiful no matter what I look like. He's a gem and I love him!0 -

Im always terrified that if I say something like this, the Greek Gods will rain down fire and sulphur on my pathetic skeleton and I'll get dumped.0 -

This is awesome. My boyfriend is amazing as well. He supports EVERYTHING I do. Last weekend I was at the gym, tired as hell. :grumble: He told me I can not stop and pushed me to not give up. I did 5mins of the bike and he came gave me a hug and said dont worry about it baby. Come on lets go. He gets it. Even when I am not at 100% he tries to be at 100 for the both of us. Having a supportive boyfriend, girlfriend, husband, wife is a great base for EVERYTHING. Cheers to all the great people on MFP and the ones who loves us!0 -
My husband has been absolutely wonderful and I believe I am slowly inspring him -He is 36, overweight with high blood pressure, GERD, sleep apnea and allready has some issues with his heart-that I'm not going to try to spell. He is handsome to me at any weight (I do like big men) I just want him to be healthy and enegetic.0

My husband is the best. Hands down.
I've actually written a blog about him before because he's so awesome, titled, MY HUSBAND ROCKS! It makes me sad when I hear about spouses / significant others that sabatoge efforts and don't support their loved one...
My husband supports me in everything I do. He has called me sexy and beautiful since day 1 when I weighed a bit over 200 lbs! I can't imagine going through this journey without him. Oh yeah, and he works out with me everyday. P90X, baby!!!! :happy:0 -
That's great! :flowerforyou: I'm also one of the lucky ones with a wonderful boyfriend who supports me in all my endeavors to get healthy. Like julieh, I think/ hope I'm slowly inspiring him to get back on track. He joined MFP with me, but has totally lost motivation the past few months. I worry about him as it seems he puts work ahead of his health. He's in his 40's and I want us to live a long healthy life together.0

Hubby!!! I'm a lucky girl. Now he tells me how muscle I'm building.0

I'm single, but my roommates are incredibly supportive, tolertaing my midnight Insanity workouts, and my healthful foods.
Also, my family has really changed since I started this process!! My dad stopped smoking, and has started working away his beer belly - he goes to the gym all the time. My brother has put on almost 10lbs of muscle (although, he has always been athletic, just scrawny) and my mom has started a circuit program at the gym and is looking into personal training.
So now I feel like my post is a little irrelevant to the topic. But what I'm trying to say is that my family is really supportive because they've started their own health journies. And that my roommates rock.0 -
I too am very blessed Shortly after I joined MFP, he joined! He has lost 18 pounds and I have lost 19. He has never said anything negative to me and has always treated me like I walked on water. My DIL tells me all the time that he worships the ground I walk on :flowerforyou: Very blessed indeed0
