Midday Munchies

We are all in need of the midday munchies. Either you go to the refrigerator at home constantly or the vending machine at work.
Either way…STOP!
Reclaim your power, get healthier munchies and be ready when the craving strikes. This way you are the one in control and you will not feel awful afterwards.
You can use my list or make your own list and be strong of temptations. I understand the tiramisus look delicious, pizza’s tasty, and double mocha with chocolate sprinkles are yummy but it is not healthy.
This is my list:

· Bananas
· Yogurt
· Granola bars
· Blue Diamond individual packages (100 calories)
· Whole-grain crackers
· Apple slices
· Pretzels
· A fresh bowl of mixed berries (strawberries, blueberries, blackberries)
· Cheerios
Make your own list today…and please let me know if it works for you.
Good luck on your journey!

Ciao,
Jose

    Baby carrots
Celery (I like it with PB2)
    Nuts (almonds, walnuts, pistachios)
Dry cereal (such as Honey Nut Cheerios but I plan to switch to plain soon because of the sugar)
    Plain greek yogurt
    BLUEBERRIES! Love, love love these!
Plain rice cakes with sugar free jelly
    Apples, Orange, Banana, etc.
Dried fruit (check for no added sugar, watch the calories and portion sizes. If you stay within this you will be A-ok)
Rye or Pumpernickel cocktail bread, 3 pieces is 70 calories, I spread on some fat-free cream cheese too.
Atkins bars (good for something quick, on the go.)
    Sugar free pudding cups
    Sugar free jello cups

Yes, some of the above listed is 'processed' and has 'artificial' sweeteners. Eat at your own discretion.
  • I am having a sugar free jello right now..

    We need the munchies, right?

Munchies proven to speed up your metabolism and burn more calories.

Good Luck and let's support each other.. Feel free to pass the topic Midday Munchies to everyone.

    Have a great day!
