We have a lot of :glasses: places to eat here and it's a challenge with a calorie budget. Looking for some more bang for my buck. Good food that's inexpensive, but good for you too. Can you help?

There are some of the best vegan and vegetarian restaurants in SF, you're lucky! Even if you have no interest in that lifestyle, give some of them a try. You won't be disappointed.0

I see that you're in the South Bay....have you been to Milk Pail market near San Antonio Shopping Center? Also, if you haven't already, check out Crossroads market. Both markets have a great selection of quality foods, some of which are imported. In terms of restaurants, I highly recommend Sprouts Cafe in downtown Palo Alto. It's not super expensive and the salads are gigantic and super fresh. Also, across the street from Sprouts Cafe is Loving Hut. It's a vegan cafe with some really delicious choices. Hope this helps!0
