    That lady's face is so scary it should be considered child abuse for the daughter looking at her! I love to be tanned but that lady is SICK!!!!

    Her skin truly looks like leather...boggles my mind...hope the child remains safe, but somehow I doubt it.

    It is illegal here (Victoria BC) for anyone under the age of 18 to use tanning beds. Dumb law, but she's probably the reason why!

    I'm sitting here in an office where my guy is training and doing my typing today. Every time I go to the Yahoo homepage to get to my mail her face is there and I have to resist the urge to burst out laughing. I didn't make it the first time I saw it and we all watched the video this morning!

    They just did an interview with her on CBS news and I cannot honestly tell you anything she said...I think I'm going to have nightmares!

    I'm in Philly not far from the NJ area where this happened, the mom denies that the child got burnt from the tanning salon and wasn't in the stall or however it gets done, I don't know I'm naturally brown, but said the child got burnt in the sun. Either way the child should be monitored and not allowed to stay in the sun like that she is very pale and red headed. The mom is telling the local news media it's all a big misunderstanding. She clearly has an addiction to the sun she is beyond tan she is bronze as if she was dipped in a bronzer like they did baby shoes back in the 70's it's a shame. Sad story, very high risk of skin cancer which is very deadly.

    Hopefully her daughter will grow up and NEVER want to look like mommy--she looks like an alien or a burn victim--I wonder if that is her regular tan or if she fell asleep? Sometimes it takes actually looking at yourself OUTSIDE of yourself to see what a mess you look like--hopefully she will look at the interview and be like 'dang, do I REALLY look like that?"

    My mom pretty much hit the nail on the head, saying this woman looks like one of those mummified corpses they fish out of peat bogs from time to time. Scarily accurate.
