Do YOU go up and DOWN?

Around the end of 2011 my weight loss experience changed drastically. Instead of holding steady with the occasional loss, I started going up and down on a daily basis. It is not unusual to have an 8 pound variation inside of one week. I've seen as much as a 6 pound difference from one day to the next. So for the last 6 months I've seen a high of 194 and a low of 185.4 and all points in between. Does anyone else have this going on?

everyone does. water retention. pooping frequency. amount of sleep. intensity of workout. macro composition. all of this can have an effect on the scale.0

Yup. Lose a few pounds during the week and gain most of it back so MFP tracker tells me I lost half a pound or whatever. There're tons of reasons why, too.0

Yup, I do...I can weigh anywhere from 133.8-139.8 so I've pretty much given up on the scale and just use it occasionally to make sure I stay under 140. As long as I stay in that range I'm happy
