Hi, I'm Rachel. After hitting a new high on the scale, which puts me at 100lbs over my goal weight, it's time to woman up. I am a divorced mother of a six year old with special needs, and he needs me to be around for him. Also, I need to be able to keep up with Lightning McQueen!

My plan is I am eating less, eating healthier, and moving more. Next month when my son is out of school, I'm joining the fitness center where I work so I'll be able to go every day. I hope to see even more progress with that. My big problem is with motivation. At the three/four week point, I usually fall off the wagon, and my challenge to myself is to NOT let that happen this time.

I hope to be around here for a good long while.
