LCHF Snacks WITHOUT Nuts!

I cannot get enough calories in a day! I'm going a little bit crazy, so I've been looking up snacks for low carb diets and it seems like SO MANY of them include peanut butter or other nuts. I'm allergic, so those don't work for me! Tell me, what are YOUR favorite low carb snacks that don't use nuts?

(And please don't turn this into an LCHF debate. Seriously.)

Avocado comes to my mind, or use more olive oil in your salad dressings or drizzle on vegetables to get more healthy fat in.

Cottage cheese is a great one for protein, and you can have a little fruit with it if you're ok with a few carbs. Also string cheese and eggs.

Try protein shakes. I also love hardboiled egg whites. They are great to snack on!

Hard boiled eggs (make sure to eat the yolk, that's the best part)
    Pork Rinds
    Pork Cracklins
Jerkey (try to find one without much sugar)
    Salami
    Peperoni

Pepperonis are my go to snacks for adding calories. Especially at night for some reason.
  • You guys are all the best. I don't know why I didn't think about hard boiled eggs (though yes, I know I should eat it, but egg yolk creeps me out... lol)!

Seeds, cheese, sugar free jello pudding made with low carb milk. Breyers has an ice cream called carb smart. I like atkins bars too.

Been that way my whole life, so don't be too sorry! It's not like I know what I'm missing, though people tell me frequently how amazing nuts are, and peanut butter. Which smells REALLY good, but even being that close to it gives me hives. lol.

Jerky, Salami, Pepperoni, Eggs, Ham Rolls (Philly cheese, green onion, on sliced ham - roll up and cut into bite-size pieces - make a bunch and keep ready in fridge), Cheese (I love fresh Gouda), just to name a few. Good luck!
