Getting Merina coil out

I am getting my coil out next week. No matter what I do I can't lose weight. Can anyone comment on their weight loss once they go it out?

    I have one as well, for 3 years. I am pretty sure that has caused some of my weight gain. However, I'd rather have that cause my weight gain, then getting pregnant...lol...Good Luck I'll be anxious to hear if removing it affects your weight.

    Yeah, not worried about pregnancy, tubes are tied, had merina to control periods. That it did, but losing weight is impossible!

    It's very difficult to lose weight while on any form of progesterone, that's the reason why women lose less (if at all) during the second part of their cycle, after ovulation occurs progesterone peaks...

    Progesterone stimulates appetitie, that is often why women gain weight while using an iud like Mirena.
