Lean proteins (of which chicken breast is one of the best) feed muscle, which is the body's fat burning oven. They are also not likely to be stored as fat, unlike simple carbohydrates. A diet high in protein, vitamins, minerals, water and complex carbs is best for fat loss.

I find that I can eat more for less calories when I stick to lean protein sources. I also stay full longer, so I do think there is something to the high protein theory.

Protein will not aid in fat loss only a calorie restricted diet can. Although protein can aid in muscle growth with bulking it can also spare muscle while being on a weight loss diet.

More is a relative term. You can't go wrong shooting for 1g per lb of lean body mass.

A normal person really does not even need that much if you dont exercise. But if you do exercise as long as you're healthy then this is a good starting point.

I think it's more like portion control and specific workouts which you will have to change up so your body will be challenged and that case it will keep burning fat.

Until I upped my protein intake consistently, I had trouble losing weight at any decent pace.
