Running out of steam…

…so I thought I’d make a list of what I’ve achieved so far :) Yesterday marked 50 days without binging, which is a big deal for me! I rarely went two consecutive days without gorging on chocolate and crisps, but now I’m learning to enjoy food properly again, and I don’t think I could go back!
I started off on 14th March 2012 at 11 stone exactly and have lost 11 pounds so far.
My belt goes a hole or two tighter than it used to.
I have a pair of jeans which I wore in February and to be quite honest, they cut me in two :embarassed: Tried them on last week and they’re uncomfortably baggy!
I tried on an old dress last night. I wore it out last September and it near constricted my breathing (after 20 minutes of trying to close the bloody thing!) I always had to pull it over my head as my hips were far too big for it to fit over…well, last night it fit over my hips and I didn’t have to inhale while I zipped it up and it was still loose! :D
I guess I just need to see it written down, so happy this is actually working!

It doesn't sound like you're running out of steam...it sounds like you're doing a great job. In fact a most excellent, double woot worthy, A-number one, fantastic job.

You will no doubt get to your goal in an impressive amount of time.

That is so wonderful. Good for you to write it down it does seem to help to know it is out there somewhere. Binging is a nasty little bugger that sabotages us to no end. Way to go and keep being proud of this accomplishment!

Thanks everyone! :) I think keeping track of the little things is what I need to keep going, if I didn't I could look in the mirror, see little change and pack it in when in reality, there is actually a lot changing that I just don't see day to day.

Thank you :) I honestly think the beginning is by far the hardest. Crack those 2 weeks and nothing will stop you, you can do this! :flowerforyou:

Thank you for the inspiration! Yay you! It's fantastic when you can make a list like this - I'll make one too and post it where I can see it!
