I have a bodybugg which is the same thing made by the same company. I don't know what there is both. LOL Theyre featured on teh show The biggest Loser also. It's VERY accurate. Much more so than a heart rate monitor. I was pretty surprised to see how calories little I burned just day to day and during different workouts. Explained why I didn't get the results I wanted all those times I tried to diet and exercise before though. I just started P90x and the website says the ave calorie burn is 600 for most people. With my bodybugg I could see i was only burning 160-440 calories per workout. That's a big difference when you are trying to eat at a calorie deficit to lose weight. I think they're awesome and roll my eyes and HRM promo people. Unless you actually want to check your heart rate- get the bodybugg/body media fit and not the HRM. Good luck.0

I've had mine for a little over a month now and love it. I was surprised to see how much I burn on a day to day basis. Very eye opening and helpful. I have lost the majority of my weight before I got it, but hit a plateau. Groupon was offering a deal on them at the time, so I thought why not. I am so glad that I did. I have lost 10.5 pounds in the 5 weeks that I have had it.
*edited to add that I have the Body Media Fit0 -
I have a BMF. If you are a numbers person and like to see what you are burning and how that compares to what you are eating, you sleep time and how well you sleep then you will like this. Most of the time I forget I have it on because it just becomes so natural to wear it. I researched before getting one and couldn't find many bad comments or reviews. You have to be willing to spend the money up front and then the $7 a month for the site where you upload the data. I log my food in both MFP and BMF because I like all the charts, excel spreadsheets, PDF's that you can get from BMF and the only way to do that is to log everything in both places.0

I have the regular Body Media Fit. It is the one that you have to upload the data to your computer.0

I have the body media and the biggest thing for me (like others) was how wrong my TDEE was. Most calculators put my maintenance around 1950 calories but BodyMedia only clocks me at 1750 on non exercise days.0

I have been using a BodyMedia Fit Link for just 5 weeks now. I really like it so far and plan to keep using it... the only thing I do not like is I started P90X 4.5 weeks ago and had a feeling that my calorie burns on it weren't accurate, so I bought a Polar Heart Monitor as well and about 95% of the time my HRM has me burning about 100-150 calories more then my BMF especially when I do anything with weights. It has been dead on (within 5-10) when I walk on my treadmill, and everytime I do Yoga X, and X Stretch. I haven't compared Zumba yet. I really like the step tracking on BMF and the website is easy to use.0
