Hi! I started using MFP actively about a week ago and love it so far.

I've been working on losing a total of 50 pounds before my wedding in November. The progress has been slower than it should be, but I know I only have myself to blame for that. So far this year I've dropped 10 pounds...better than nothing, right?

Anywho...a little about me...I'm 26...live in Florida. My fiance has been deployed since October...but comes back this month! I was hoping to have more progress than I have made to surprise him, but this healthier lifestyle is for ME...not him. I know he'll be happy to see me regardless of whether I lose 10 or 50.

As far as fitness and eating right...I try to eat as balanced as I can while also making my diet convenient enough that I don't fall off the wagon so quickly (has happened in the past). I work out at least 5 times a week....30 minutes of cardio and then weights.

I guess that's about it!

awesome! Welcome to MFP :) Whenever my husband deploys I use that as time to focus on 'me' and better myself in some way. Good luck with your goals!
