I was just wondering do you consider yourself to be fit? I wouldn't consider myself to be fit at all, however most of my friends would consider me to be fit.
Whats your idea of FIT?

Well, The only thing i know at this point is that I am not what I would call fit. Once I am able to do normal daily activities as well as play sports and run for some distance without wanting to fall over I will consider myself fit. It is a matter of being healthy. Having the right nutrition and exercise in your life that makes you fit I think. A person can look fit on the outside but have a lot of problems with their body because they don't eat healthy and don't do enough physical activity.0

For me being fit is when you are able to perform tasks & exercises very well in its maximum capacity. While body fat percentage is a big factor but definitely cannot alone measure fitness although generally if your muscle to fat ratio falls within the healthy range (athletic & fitness) then it is safe to say that you are fit.
Personally I think I'm fit although still not as fit as Bruce Lee.0 -
Well said! I was trying to say that but you just made it sound soo much better.0

Yup I do.
I passed my PT test with flying colors, can lift some impressive numbers, and i'm a pretty fast runner. I can be active outside with family/friends no problem.
2 flights of stairs though... not so much xD0 -

I like to think I'm fit. I don't smoke, and don't drink to huge excess these days (the odd blowout for a birthday or a special occasion), and I exercise pretty hard six days a week for at least an hour.
However, I'm currently stuffed up full of a cold, so the six flights of stairs to a meeting this morning nearly finished me off!0 -
I guess to me to be fit you have to be able to do a real cardio exercise, of a sport that involves a form of interval sprints(football, etc)0

I think I'm fit. Not an athlete, but fit for my life.
I can jog 5k without absolutely dying, I can get through a first-month Insanity workout, I can chase my kids all day, and I'm not so bone tired at the end of the day that I can't be bothered to brush my teeth before falling into bed.
I'd like to be fitter though, hence the Insanity0
