Weight Gain- Help!

So I've been going hard and heavy for a week, exercising every day, staying at my calorie goals and I've gained 3 pounds almost 4! Help! This is so discouraging! :grumble:

    Give it another week to see if it changes at all. I think we all fluctuate a bit, and that weight gain is discouraging, but it should be coming off soon. I know it took me about a month to start to see any weight loss, and I go up and down a few pounds but the overall trend is down. It just takes a while is all.

    Stick with it and try not to get discouraged. I know it is difficult but if it were easy there wouldn't be sites like this out there for all of us struggling with weight issues.

    If you haven't given your body time to rest - it is probably holding on to water to repair muscles...don't stress...I am usually up the day or two after a heavy workout...

    really push water and make sure you take a rest day or two during the week...let your muscles have a chance to repair and relax.
