Relation of skin to diet?

My skin is really quite bad. I already know that my skin scars easily and is naturally oily, most of the spots I get will scar. (OK, I admit I do pick quite a bit but even the ones I don't pick tend to scar)

Over the past few weeks I've had 'waves' of breakouts which are just pimples. I get these pimples on my face, neck, shoulders, back and chest. My upper back is covered in scars, I'm quite self conscious about that :x

I'm used to getting pimples because my skin is oily but not on my neck and shoulders and not in these 'waves'. I've always heard and thought that diet doesn't affect your skin (make you spotty, to be precise) but I'm not sure what else it could be.

Could it be mild acne, or perhaps I'm just prone to spots?

diet is the cause for me. more fat=more breakouts.

    I breakout if:
    a) I exercise and don't wash my face really soon after
    b) I eat more than a very occasional bit of processed food
    c) I don't wash my face morning and evening. Even if i've been make up free I need to cleanse and moisturise
    d) I use cleansers that are too harsh

Your daily diet has everything to do with your skin. Drink at least 2000cc / 2 liters of water a day and void deep fried food & processed junk food. Always wash your face thoroughly, regardless you put a make up on or not, and I usually use ****inson's Original Witch Hazel Pore Perfecting Toner after my morning wash (before moisturizer)
