Hi, so I am 18 years old and weigh 275 pounds. I am GOING to lose 130 pounds and need help. Anyway, I want to ask how much do you think I could in 9 weeks? The reason I ask is in 9 weeks from today, I will be going on a mission trip to Latin America. I went on a mission trip last April weighing 250 pounds and the airplane belt barely fit and I don't want to be embarrassed.

In 15 weeks I lost 45 pounds, so I would say 20-30?0

I would say if you really dig deep you could lose at least 25!!!
Good luck!0 -
The max goal for this website is 2lb per week, though you may have more come off at first. So I'd say minimum 18lbs.0

40-500

You might be able to lose around 20lbs. I'm around your weight and have been losing around ten pounds a month. But stick to drinking a lot of water, eating your fruits and vegetables and LOG EVERYTHING.
You can do this - good luck!0 -
im not sure, but my best advice is WATCH YOUR SODIUM INTAKE...thats my downfall..so much sodium in everything, and that could make a big difference as well..good luck0

I'm thinking 25 as well. But hey, why not go for inches so that belt will fit? Doing standing/aerobic pilates has made me lose inches even though my weight doesn't change as fast (diet is what mainly effects the scale for me). If you have Netflix Instant, try alternating "Crunch: Super SlimDown" and "Crunch: Fat-Burning Pilates". I do each at least once a week. Good luck!0

I'm with everyone else, 20-25 pounds is a reasonable goal and probably attainable. God bless on your mission trip!0

20 to 25 pounds is very attainable if your willing to use discipline (NO CHEAT DAYS) and exercise its hard but you can do it0

Safely, and in a healthy way ---I'd say you could lose 40-60lbs. It just depends how much you were over eating before vs. your daily calorie goal on myfitnesspal. After i had my baby, i paid for a trainer and attended training sessions 2-3x per week from August-November. I lost 30lbs, and knowing what i know now i could have lost more if i had myfitnesspal did more cardio and cut all the fast food "healthy" foods. (NOT) Then i started taking px pills for my post-pardom, i started drinking even more, and i stopped working out regularly; So i gained all the weight back again. I'm trying to lose it again, without a gym membership or a trainer, because I can do all the same stuff at home that i did at the gym. Good luck! If you get a chance go to my blog, i'm blogging about everything i've learned and i have easy recipes and snacks. http://kindaorganic.blogspot.com/0
