I love potato chips! :-( That's the bad news...

The good news is that I'm sure one or many of you can help me find a healthy replacement for my habit! I love to crush up a handful and put them on my salad. Are croutons better for me? Any ideas of something else I can use?

  • Depends on what it is about the potato chips you like. The salt, the greasiness, the crunch, etc. Personally as far as salads go the only crunch I really need is raw peppers, and maybe some crumbled feta cheese if I'm craving salt.

I think it's the crunch and the salt. I rarely salt any food other than what I use to cook it.

Lays LIGHT chips. About 80 calories per serving...great news is NO FAT and they are delicious!

Also try Special K Cracker Chips.

Also Pop Chips. They're really good. Instead of baking or frying the potato, they pop it. I know that sounds strange but they're pretty good and low in calories.
