Hi, I just signed up and Im wondering if this site offer's menu plans? I can't find any. The hardest thing for me when Im trying to lose weight is to come up with meal idea's on my own. I do better when I have something telling me exactly what I should eat for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Thanks!

Not that I know of. The site is very helpful with recipes but I know sites like special k do stuff like that. I started it but never had time to make the meals.

Nope, no meal plans on here. Its basically just to track what you eat, but does suggest the calories/fat/carbs you should stick with. Have you thought about what kind of diet would be easy for you to stick with (low cal, low fat, low carb, etc)?

no there is no menu plans .. but you can check out members diaries and see what their eating to get some ideas
  • Thanks so much for the replies. I'm just looking for portion control and healthier meals to make for my family and I. I get bored easily of the same things over and thats a main reason why I end up falling off a diet.

    First off, welcome.
It's a bit odd to start with - the concept that you can eat or drink
ANYTHING as long as within your calorie allowance.
Initially I found it difficult to eat to my calories but the recipy message
board is really good to have a look through (don't do it when you are
hungry to start with :-P )
That and I added friends early on and used their diarys as insperation.
Feel free to add me although I'll warn you that although I log
everything - I have a 'splurge day' on mondays which can be a little ott
but seems to keep me on the straight and narrow the rest of the time.
The best thing about MFP is that it really is about what WORKS FOR YOU
    rather than another 'diet'.
    Good luck
    Nicola

In order to offer meal plans, they have to be supported through a nutritionist. That being said...means you pay for it. MFP is an awesome resource...and a Free one.

The key you are searching for - making the healthy choices for which will bring you success to a healthier you. Feel free to add me if you have any questions that I might be able to assist with.
