i do well all day eat good and and feel well but it seems after we put the kids to bed i want to snack and i know its the worst thing to do eat at night but no matter what it is that we do i feel hungry in the evening ., my wife said to try sunflower seeds so i am going to try that but i would rather just not have the cravings in the evening at all that's where my biggest down fall is , i normally never post on any sites Facebook, twitter, ext, but i thought that maybe if i wrote it down somewhere it would sink in and i could get past my evening problems , does any one else have this problem ?

I used to have this problem all the time. downtime usually means computer time, which used to mean snacking for me. Try brushing your teeth, flossing, getting in there REALLY good and using Listerine, or some other powerful mouthwash, right after dinner. it is such a strong taste that nothing else tastes good, and you get discouraged from eating, or drinking anything.
    Good Luck!

Save some calories for snacking at night. It's not a bad thing to eat at night as long as you are within your calorie and macro goals for the day.

Exactly what i was going to say, and which is exactly what I've done for the last year. I KNOW i prefer eating snacks late, so i intentionally eat less during the day to give myself the spare calories to partake in this late night snackfests.

I was a chronic night snacker.

Protein. Keep boiled eggs in the fridge. One of those and you'll snack no more lol. Snack on carbs and you'll keep craving for more.

Of course, leave yourself some night snack calories to use, and finish with a hot cuppa, which always makes the stomach feel full and warm.
