omega 3 fish oil

Hi i just started taking omega 3 fish oil , and i was wondering if anyone else is taking this too. If you're taking them have you noticed any changes in how you feel or weight loss with them?

I take one every day...if i remember. I like to take it after the gym, it has antiinflammatory properties and i'd rather take that than an ibuprofen....not really sure how its supposed to help with weight loss though?

I read that it balances out the omega 6 which is bad for you, but then again you can't always believe what you read on the internet!0

My husband takes it to help with his triglycerides. I dont know about any weight loss properties.0

If you go to the search above...Type in Omega 3 and there are topics there on this that should help you with this....I was just looking at them earlier b/c I was wondering the same thing...HTH!!0

I'm taking it. It has helped with making my hair and nails more healthy. I also heard it helps with fat absorption after a fatty meal. I also take Vitamin D and a multivitamin.0

I have like 4 types of omega 3 (flax, chia, cod liver oil, and actual fish) I never remember to take it/eat it =/0

Omega-6 fatty acids aren't bad for you, they're essential in your diet. It's the ratio of omega-6 to omega-3 that is important. Americans typically get much more omega-6 than omega-3

I take one to two capsules everyday. I take it because it's supposed to be good for the skin! Don't know if it helps with weight loss though.0

Took lovaza for years. Since I lost weight, I haven't had the problems with my triglycerides, so I have been taken off them.
For awhile I tried an over-the-counter supplement to save money, but the results weren't as good. So much for the comparisons of the supplement industry to big pharma.0 -
I was taking 2 a day, but since I've lost weight I only take one a day. My weight loss probably has something to do with my "bad cholesterol" going from 115 to 85, in 7 months but I contribute some of it to the fish oil. I take members mark brand from Sam's Club and it doesn't give you that after taste when you burb. I'm not sure they help you with weight loss, but they help with a lot of other things especially if you don't get a lot of omega 3 fatty oil in your diet.0

I take high strength triple omega oils (3, 5, and 9). Doubt it will help with weight loss, but good for your health! Also a very good idea to take this and other supplements if you are following a low calorie regime or one based on excluding certain food groups.0

This. I take one most days and my hair is healthy. That's what I know for sure. Anything else would be specultation.0
