Six days per week. On sundays I do housework and yardwork or much of nothing.

If you are working out 3-5days per week that is pretty good. Only thinks is to make sure that you HR is up where it needs to be so as to get the most of those workout days.

    Good luck and keep moving.

I work out 6-7 days a week. If I travel on Thursday or Friday then I usually don't get to workout except walking around DFW or IAH. If I do a 5k race I take a day off before the race. If I workout 7 days one day is Pilates & 1hr of cardio

You are NOT being lazy. Exercising 3-4 days a week is a good thing. I would also say pick a routine you can see yourself sticking to and continuing not only while you're trying to lose weight, but also when you begin maintaining. Pushing yourself too hard can make you burn out quickly, and then you won't have the motivation to exercise. You wouldn't run a marathon without training, right? If you want to add more days of working out, start out where you are and add a day when you feel ready to.

Overall, you need to do what works for you.

Working out 3-4 days/week is good. I don't see that as being lazy at all. It's not necessary to exercise more than that to lose weight. I exercise 6 days/week, but I don't think that someone who works out less than that is lazy. Lazy to me is not working out at all. I workout 6 days/wk mainly to reach and maintain my overall fitness goals, not solely my weight loss goals.

How many of you exercise EVERY day?? Is it necessary to lose the weight? Am I being lazy (according to my hubby - YES). I usually exercise 3-4 days in a row and take a day off.

    Thanks.

Do I get in what people consider "Exercise" in every day? :noway: Nope, probably not, usually about 6 days, but I do get in some sort of activity in every day... activity that will burn some calories... Grocery shopping, house cleaning, yard work, that's not considered "Exercise" but it does burn calories!!!

I like to do 45-60min of cardio daily if my schedule permits (being an in home nanny this week is killing my exercise routine) and then I tend to lift 4 or 5 days a week with varying intensity.

I don't like to take a day off of card simply because I love doing it. Whether I'm doing the elliptical, stairs, or treadmill it gives me the opportunity to just listen to some music and sweat, I love it,

I think just having a regular routine is a good thing and it doesn't matter if you work out everyday as long as you're pretty regular about it. 3-4 days or 5-7, it is up to the individual. With that said, I walk 4 miles everyday of the week, for exercise. I do 1 hour Kettlebell workouts M-W-F and easier 30 minute Stability Ball routines on T-Th. So, I could kind of say Saturday and Sunday are more 'rest' days, as I only walk then. I might cut it back somewhat, when I reach my goal. But, I might not. I really love it and the fact that I am regaining my strength and mobility.

I do low impact exercise about 4-5 days a week -- that can range from a 20 minute walk to 2 hours of hand-mowing the lawn, to a hour hike. I do 10 minutes of exercises using my body weight about twice a week (like sit ups, push ups, squats, jumping jacks, etc....). Sometimes I play outside with the kids, wiffle ball or bike riding, or kicking around a soccer ball. This type of "exercising" has already made a huge difference in the way I look. I also eat primally. Hope that helps!
