Oh, I am not done for the day. My goal is to eat 2700 today I should have mentioned that. Sorry.

How are my macros / other foods? I am trying to find a healthy balance and find out what foods I should avoid.

I think you are not eating enough either, What is your calorie deficit? How much water are you drinking. How long have you been on MFP.

    See what others say

Your sodium is pretty high. That will make you retain a lot of water. Try to avoid too many processed meats and look for more natural protein sources, like fish, chicken, eggs, cottage cheese, etc. Just my opinion. I am no expert.

My first instinct isn't so much how many calories, but the kinds of calories. I didn't see any veggies on there...fruit yes, but no veggies...especially the good dark green leafy kinds! Plus your sodium...wow. Protein is good and needed, but if it comes in the form of salt, I really don't see much good in it personally.

Bodyfat is 29% weight is 222

I JUST started eating more today after reading threads and making my own. I was stalled at 1lb lost over 4 weeks on MFP. That's why I am looking for feedback, I just want to ensure I am off to the right start.

Roger that on cleaner protein sources.

I agree with mbcan316. your sodium is high and I don't know your water intake. I sometimes add lemon juice to my water, it is a natural diruetic and helps to cleans the kidneys and is supposed to aid in digestion too.

Yah...veggies are hard to add in if not your fave.... What about a smoothie? Use your fruits to disguise the greens? I get spinach and Kale into my kids that way. I also purée them and add to my spaghetti sauces, meatballs etc. amazing how you can "hide" the good stuff!

Try chopping some incredibly small or pureed and adding them to other foods (like that pulled pork a couple days ago? If I was making it for my picky eater, I'd have tossed in some super chopped spinach and told them it was a spice  ). It works pretty good for most veggies, AND 9 times out of 10 it doesn't freak out the flavor, but you still get the goods from the veggies and you don't have to stress about "eating your vegetables", because they're already IN there!

Well, Pu just gave you an awesome answer (although if you're lifting, I would up the protein to 1.25xlbm). So I'll just add this link that has some more info about calculating calories and macros if anyone's interested.

Solid advice, thank you. I'm going to work on adding more vegetables to every meal.

I am a nomad by nature in every aspect... I like to eat on the fly (pick things up and eat them with little to no prep which is why I love fruit) and I even eat standing up 90% of the time.

I'm going to tweak things up for tomorrow and lower my sodium.

Aforementioned is all very good advice. Follow it and you will make some more steps toward your goals.
Pick out a body fat percentage target, get a BF monitor and start using it. You should end up closer to 19% than 29%, but over time, perhaps 6 months. Have to eat your vegetables. Good luck and happy eating. You are well on your way. The stall is temporary.

As for veg, try the Sneaky Chef. They have great ideas for sneaking vegs into all kinds of stuff!!
Less sodium, for sure-as others have said.
Water--I add Crystal Light-type powders to mine.
Look for whole grains; less processed food. The best things for you are the least processed. Good luck!!

I drink a ton of water, I just consistently fail to enter it into MFP. I have a Brita water bottle I am CONSTANTLY swigging from, so I don't count it as I know I drink 8+ a day.

I am going to take this advice and run with it. Thanks everyone! This is super important to me and I am glad folks like you are willing to help.
