What are some of your favorite movies?

My top ones are: Weird Science, The Cable guy, Romy and Michele's high school reunion, Cry-baby and Jerry Maguire. Runner up would be adventures in babysitting.

    I know most of these are Japanese cartoons. They are all from the same studio and mostly the same director. They are not like American cartoons. They are better. There is the realization that the world is sometimes an ugly place and there is not always a happy ending but that doesn't lessen the beauty. Grave of the Fireflies had me crying like a little girl with a skinned knee. Spirited Away is beautiful beyond words. My Neighbor Totoro is more adorable than anything Disney has done in many years.

    Fido is sort of a Leave it to Beaver/Lassie zombie movie. Very strange.
