Morning all,
I'm on week 2 of the c25k and i've started to get a a sore knee (on the inside of my left leg below the kneecap) and a slight shin splint on my right leg
I don't want to stop as i'm getting into the groove of this running lark, any prevention suggestions or any thing i can do, to help them recover before my next run on Monday?
thanks
PS: i got fitted for trainers

HI
I have suffer alot with shin splints and have found that my problem was poor running form, I would heel strike rather than land with a flatter foot. I also tried to do too much early on.
I also found by putting ice on the shins after each run helps
Good luck and keep going0 -
thanks agentpants, I'll go grab the frozen peas now0
