What a huge accomplishment you have and are continuing to achieve!! I have a family member on this same road to recovery and I've seen first hand what a contstant battle it is. Be proud and hold your head high for all the great progress you have made thus far and will continue to do! The biggest thing I can say is continue to LOVE YOURSELF, you are WORTH it!0

That is SO MUCH more than just an NSV. That is just a plain VICTORY! Excellent for you and for those in your life. Living around alcoholics for too long during my life I understand the hardship you are going through. Be strong. Know that you CAN make it through without the help of a depressant and that you are stronger than whatever comes your way. Believe it and it will be true.0

Thank you one and all. I am extremly proud of what I have achieved over the last 6 months, it was a long journey to get here and I'm not going to waste it as I have so many times in the past.

Congratulations!!! I know what an amazing accomplishment that it truely is since I am a recovering addict/alcoholic also! It will be 3 years for me on July 2nd, free of alcohol/drugs/heroin after a 7 year battle:)0

That is great. My husband is 2 years sober and he has lost alomst 100 pounds. It is very hard to quit and stay that way.0

That's just a flat-out victory in my book. Congratulations! Alcoholism is so destructive psychologically, physiologically and relationally. It's the very best gift you could have given yourself.
