Does anyone workout when they are sick? I hear it makes you feel better, is this true?

I don't. If I feel ill, I stop and rest until I'm better. Even if I could push through, I don't. I figure, I don't know my body when I'm ill. It's all a delicate balance, and when I'm healthy I can completely read my body but when I'm ill it can be unexpected and unpredictable. I don't really know how much it can handle before something has to give, so I rest up and (I'll be honest) eat junk food.

Once I'm better, I get back on it - but only when I'm completely better. I know plenty of other people would argue you keep working out and eating well to give your body the best chance of recovery, but that's not for me.

If you just have a head cold, then yes. But if you have a fever or chest congestion, then dr says you shouldn't. Sometimes it is best to rest. Listen to your body.

I would - as long as you treat the symptoms ( no snotting all over the place while jumping around! ) good luck
