those exercises are only going to tone the muscle in that area
if you have fat on top of that muscle, you won't see much of a difference
you need to stick with the cardio to burn the fat
but you can still work on the toning at the same time
also, don't get hung up on the scale too much
I recently lost some weight but the scale has not budged much but I can SEE the difference in my body and in how i fit into my jeans which is awesome
this is esp true if you are working out because you can gain muscle mass while you lose fat and the scale won't register the replacement heh!0 -
Try the elliptical machine, I lost my *kitten* on one. :happy:0

You have to lose overall body fat - can't really lose in one place but - if you are doing weight training you can tone up that bottom!0

i use the elliptical machine for my cardio.. and it doesnt work the front part of your stomach =[ so what can i do to burn the fat there????or does it just not work the muscle there?? and when you do cardio it burns the fat everywhere...well anywhere there is fat i guess.. and i dont really want to lose my booty lol.. just love handles... =] my waist seems to be getting smaller and my hips are dropping as fast. is this normal?0

you just have to continue to lose more weight overall. The stomach will come eventually...
It just depends on how you lose weight. Some women lose their chest first, while others might lose the extra weight in their arms and legs.
Just depends! Keep at it! You wil continue to lose inches off your waist. :drinker:0
