Hi, I just started ideal protein diet to help me loose weight. It is administered by a doctor. I have nerve damage and other injuries to my left foot. Has anyone have any experience with the Ideal Protein diet they have here in the United States and Canada?

I'm confused by your post. What do you mean by administered by your doctor?
I'm on Ideal. I just buy it online.
What does it have to do with nerve damage?

Perhaps you are speaking of a different Ideal shake.

    Ideal Protein:
    They have weight loss centers.

The photos of the food look a lot like Wonderslim and Medifast.
Not to be confused with Ideal Shape replacement shakes.

    Straight from the website:
Our protocol restricts sugars (simple and complex) until 100% of your weight loss goal is achieved…why? Because, as long as sugar is being consumed, your body is not burning fat.

The foods and the plan may be totally legit, so don't let my skepticism and cynacism discourage you. My wife had an ENT affliated with a center try to force feed her on this when she is happy with what she is doing on weight watchers.
