I know this gets posted a million times but...I'm not losing anymore. I've been doing everything the same since I started but the last couple weeks the scales are not moving (and neither are the inches) and I'm just wondering if I'm doing something wrong? Not working out enough or eating too much or too little calories? I', 5'5 and and I'm stuck at 272 for now and I still have a long ways to go. Any suggestions? My diary is open if you need to take a look. Thanks for any input. =] Hope everyone has a great day.

Have you checked this site to see what your BMR is? How about your TDEE? Do you know either one of those? If not, those are a great place to start.

Also, I noticed a lot of processed foods in your food diary and not much as far as fruits and veggies go. I would try and transition from mac and cheese or Subway to lean meats (chicken, fish, etc) and veggies. It doesn't mean you have to give up the things you love, but focus on trying to make your diet healthy 80% of the time and only 20% of it be "junk food".

    Are you drinking enough water?

If what you are doing isn't working anymore - that means your body got smart and figured out how to hang on to the precious pounds. Don't ever forget - your body does NOT want you to lose weight. Your mind and your body are at odds. So if what you have been doing isn't working anymore then do something different!!!

This is where I was going to go- lots of processed foods. Also noticing a lot of breads in there, are they whole wheat breads?

More water, more fruits, more veggies and try to stabilize your calories where you aren't over or extremely under, and leave perhaps a double digit or less on the books. That's what works for me, I realize we're all different. Good luck figuring it out! :flowerforyou:

I looked at your food/exercise diaries. I agree with the above posts.Try varying up you exercise routines. As for dietary changes I'd recommend tracking your sodium intake most days you were well over the RDI, and also drinking more water. At least 64oz on your rest days, and more on your exercise days. Hope this helps, and we all hit plateaus so don't lose heart. Just make a few changes at a time and you'll find something that gets the weight coming off again. :-)

looking at your diary, I imagine your sodium levels are very high. but that might not be it. in general though, I would try to eat more fresh and less processed foods. it may not cause weight loss, but you will feel better.
