Short and long-term targets?

I'm 66 and my exercise is limited by arthritis and back problems. I am just over 5ft 5in, currently 81.5Kg and would like to get down to 63.5Kg or just below.

I'm not sure how this is best broken down into short-term and medium-term targets. Suggestions welcome.

    What targets do you mean? weight loss targets? Or exercise?

    Weight loss. I think it's supposed to be about 1kg a week, so I really just need to take time to do the maths!

    1kg is acceptable! At first I was losing 2 -3kg a week now I'm going steady around 800g a week. Its all up to you :)
