alternative cardio for sprained ankle

Hello - does anyone know if any "cardio" excercise that can be done with a level 2 sprained ankle? I was thinking about biking, but my ankle still hurts and my pool is not open yet...
Before I sprained my ankle I was walking 4-5 miles a day and jogging at times, so sitting here not doing anything is driving me a bit crazy. It has been a little over a week and dr said wait 6-8 weeks before walking or jogging...
Any ideas? I have tried to do more weights and crunches and such to help off set...

Do you have access to a rowing machine?0

no, I don't have access to a gym. I have a treadmill and an elliptical and maybe access to a recumbant bike...0

Agreed. In the 30DS, Jillian recommends punches for cardio with a lower body injury. I'm always surprised at what a workout it is.0 -
thanks - will have to try that...0
