I am going through a particularly bad flare up right now and am trying to find ways to cope. Right now what helps is eating clean and mostly just veggies, fruit and protein (even whole grains seem to be an issue......I am thinking I cannot even eat oatmeal :(, gentle yoga helps, getting enough rest helps, trying not to overdue (which is what triggered this last bout I think) helps, anything else that anyone has found truly helpful?? Would sooooooo appreciate hearing form you. thank you! dyanna

I have fibro also. The only thing that helps me is regular exersize on the elliptical and prescription Ultram. I've found I must keep my carbs between 50-75ish to keep the fibro fatigue/fog at a minimum. Its a daily struggle.

I have heard that red light therapy is very helpful for all types of pain, including fibro. This is an article about it, hope it helps:
