                    For those who like lifting heavy (anyone who thinks lifting weights will make women bulk - leave this post now!!!) what supplements do you use?
Im thinking of trying some new things and just wondered what anyone could recommend (that i could get easily in the UK).

            Whey protein on days that I don't consume enough protein through whole foods. (Occasionally I'll take it just to reach my protein goal on fewer calories so that I can eat some ice cream later/etc).
Multi vitamin.
Fish oil that I don't take very often out of sheer laziness.0 - 
            A good preworkout with creatine is a solid standby I would say, Muscle Pharm Assault is what I use (not sure if available in the UK).
The energy burst is not much more than I would get from a cup of strong black coffee and some grapefruit, but that coupled with the creatine and beta alanine make for a good workout, and solid recovery (I'm not sore very often or for long).
As a woman, other than a multivitamin and a good balanced diet of good carbs, protein, good fats I wouldn't bother with much else.0 - 
            100% Whey protein w/ BCAA's is the only supp I take on my lifting days post workout. It is good for muscle repair and growth.
I like to make a smoothie with it. Yum!0 - 
            Whey protein. I do like Animal Pump supplement but havent used it in a very long time. Oh I also I take an assorted amount of vitamins. Thats pretty much it for me other than coffee for a boost of energy and advil & heating pad for those super sore pain days.0

            1 scoop of whey protein a day (24g protein) - Gold Standard 100% Whey Double Chocolate Flavour. Bought from a local supplement shop, but there are places online that ship to the UK (Optimum Nutritions website?)
Nothing else. I used to take Creatine (Optimum Nutrition) but that didn't really do much for me, and I sometimes take an Vitamin D, Calcium & Magnesium supplement (Osteocare chewable, bought from Boots) but that's never been much of a regular thing.0 -

            Whey protein and phosphatidylserine are the only two supps I use that i think actually work. Phosphatidylserine will help blunt the high cortisol levels that are brought on post weight training0

            My morning routine after my workout consists of Luekic pills, bcaa pills, fish oils, and whey. I take glutamine as well along with casein and pre workout drinks.
I just got a free thing of muscletech hardcore creatine so I might start taking that once classes are over this week.0
