I've heard that thsi is the hardest part of your body to lose, and I'm finding that it is so very true.
Any tips on getting rid of this annoying tire around my stomach?
I'm also on a very strict diet and run every other day.
Thanks in advance!

  • There is a book written by a certified nutrition called "Skinny girls don't eat salads." I try not to buy into random diets, because we all know that the only way to lose weight is to burn more calories than you eat. But, I saw the author on TV a few days ago, and she says that a study was done at Yale University that shows that women who eat "just a few" nuts at every meal burn up to 33% more belly fat, because the fats in nuts are monounsaturated and increase metabolism. Also, she said that blueberries, raspberries, blackberries, and cherries contain a compound that helps fight the hormone "cortisol," which is responsible in part for storing belly fat. I figure since you are suppose to eat fruit anyways, it wouldn't hurt to try :)
