So my husband is deployed for a year and as you can guess, this means I'm not getting a certain something (for a year!!!!!).... So needless to say, recently, I have been staring at food as if it were him. Also if I do eat anything sweet, sinful and 100% bad for me, I sit there and eat it , savoring every single bite (even moaning, lol). I'm so ashamed but its all I have...lol. I feel like this is the worst because I'm using food to satisfy the lack of something else. I try to workout and do whatever else, but this seems to be the only thing that compare. I have a feeling this is going to mess up my progress. What do i do? Or is there anything I can do?

Not lacking in the "taking care of my self" area... but thanks. Is there any way around standing still at the grocery store... just staring at cake like its a man? lol

Don't fight it! Try substituting some really good fruit for the bad stuff though - better than cakes and icecream.

I'm sure I don't need to suggest bananas... but how about ripe oranges, with the way each of the cells burst in your mouth when you squeeze them with your tongue... certain varieties of mangoes have a pungent, almost 'animal' scent... plums are a 'good' size, aren't they? Or lychees, too.

    And hey, bananas.

I have a long-distance relationship too. In case you were wondering.

    Proceed.
